5BX → is an exercise program developed by Bill Orban in the late 1950s for the Royal Canadian Air Force consisting in 6 charts arranged in progression; each chart is composed of 5 exercises to be performed within the total time of 11 minutes

5BX is composed of five tracks ranging from a minimum of 5'28" to a maximum of 11'57", for a total running time of 39'50"; each track is named after a single exercise of the 5BX Plan

each track has been sketched improvising over computer-sequenced cycles (within 11 minutes) of note patterns, recording the L/R output of a midi-fed Blofeld synthesizer, except track 1 played by keyboard at un-synced tempo with MonoPoly and FM8 loaded in AU Lab simultaneously

one week of further production, editing, vocal recording and programming happened afterwards from August 18 to 25, 2012, in my home studio using a laptop and AKG K240 Studio headphones
